With over 18 years of experience working alongside diverse community groups, Sorsha’s practice is rooted in collaboration as both a methodology and a political stance. Whether co-creating with fellow artists or facilitating immersive experiences with participants, she treats collaboration as a form of activism: a way to challenge exclusion, foster connection, and reimagine authorship.
Her projects frequently engage individuals and communities who are marginalized or omitted from dominant cultural narratives. Through inclusive, process led approaches, she creates spaces where unheard voices are amplified and meaning is made collectively. For Sorsha, art is a site of radical empathy a place where creative exchange becomes a tool for resistance, transformation, and shared understanding.
Below is a selection of collaborative projects from the past decade that reflect this ethos.
