Nine contemporary artists based across the West Midlands, London, and the South of England were invited to create new sculptural works for the walls of Croome Court’s Long Gallery. Using the original architectural features and historical context as a point of departure, each artist developed a site-specific response that engaged with the unique character of Croome’s Capability Brown-designed landscape and the refined interiors of the Court itself—including the Robert Adam-designed Long Gallery. The resulting works form a dialogue between past and present, inviting viewers to reconsider the layered histories embedded within the space.
