Relics is a collaborative project with RADE Dublin, an organization that supports individuals in recovery from drug use through the arts and therapeutic engagement. RADE provides a vital platform for creative expression, empowering participants to explore their experiences and identities.

Through the medium of ceramics, the group delved into the concept of crafting their own relics—symbolic and archetypal objects designed to reflect their lives and stories. These self-reflective creations were imagined as artifacts for future generations to discover, offering insight into the personal and collective journeys of those in recovery.

Many participants were still navigating active addiction during the project, and their works often grappled with past traumas and the pervasive social misconceptions surrounding addiction. The resulting pieces are deeply personal, challenging societal stigma while honoring resilience, transformation, and the enduring human spirit.
