In her piece Hysteria, Sorsha began with an exploration of loss of consciousness. As the work evolved, it became a meditation on the cultural trope of the hysterical woman. Drawing from a wide range of visual sources, she collected and assembled fragmented images each one a whisper of narrative and placed them in stark isolation against a blank page.
